A Wizard's Way There are seven stages, say the wisest of sages, in the evolution of human consciousness. This perennial philosophy seeks to attain the kingdom where levels of freedom petition to break the boundaries in the prison of known and past conditioned. The population circulates in the waking, dreaming, sleeping states, blind to the ability of the mind to spontaneously orchestrate space and time. Mythic symbols refer beyond personalities transcendent of thought in this transcosmic unity. Death is always stalking behind the mechanics of creation and even captures masters of meditation who seize the moment in celebration to hand out invitations to their weddings with eternity. Infinite universes co-exist in this symphony of existence where dreams are illusions because manufactured in the brain, making waking reality just the same. The end of (1)Innocence marks the birth of the (2)Ego, here fear and attachment take precedence over the self, being sacrificed for self image, wearing social masks to hide the (3)Achiever reaching higher for desires: approval, money, power, as guilty (4)Givers give out of ego gratification whereas the (5)Seeker seeks to give out of love and compassion, while true searchers surrender needs to defend, predict, control, but gain glimpses of a (6)Seer's soul who becomes an alert witness to roads played out by the ego so is seldom overshadowed by the scenery until directly experiencing the self as (7)Spirit where aware of connection to all matter and lives in this world, yet not of it. |
